Yesterday during my trip to the shoe store, a young Indian man came up to me and said:

"Hello. Where are you from?"

"The U.S."

"And what is your name?"

"Meigan."

"I am Shankar from India."

"Hello Shankar from India."

People certainly are friendly here.
